ARTIST BIO: Inspired by street art and his social environment, Carlos Valverde has founded his work around letters and visuals through which he echoes his surroundings and his internal transformation to a better and liberated version of himself. His work is a constant psychological game between social behaviors and moral, out of which we cannot expect closed series, but certainly an image of a story being sensitively narrated on real time.

ARTIST STATEMENT: This photography series describe the artist’s first encounter with the big City (NYC), the concrete jungle. The 5 series picture is a metaphor exalting all author’s 5 senses. How we perceives the new cage and how he was perceived by his surroundings. “I know there are fences somewhere beyond the evident, but everything smells new, everything seems endless. I don ́t feel “different” anymore, I feel me in all my 5 senses.”
