I am a multidisciplinary student of the arts, exploring the integration of materials and fashion through a combination of traditional and innovative craftsmanship. Conceptually driven, my work is based on fundamental themes relating to the mind, emotions, feelings, thoughts, mental conditions, and personal states of being. Blending traditional craftsmanship with unconventional textiles, experimental materials, and innovative technologies, I work to design sculptural wearable art pieces which provide their wearers with a meaningful story and experience. I seek to pursue fashion not just as a trendy commodity or commercial endeavor, but as an art form that creates, enhances, and exposes the individual artistic expression of the wearer. My interests are based in the craftsmanship of Haute Couture, driven by materials and innovative material exploration, and inspired by the opportunities found within multi-disciplinary collaboration.
