The popular photo sharing site 500px just came out with their list of best fine art photos in 2012. Included is a stunning image of a lone man walking down a desolate road, called Passenger, by Hossein Zare. The photographer, based in Bushehr, Iran, has a wonderful collection of these stark images that’s worth exploring. The names are just as simple and powerful as the photos themselves.

Iranian photographer Hossein Zare, based in Bushehr, was one of the 10 photographers, whose picture was recognized in the Best Fine Art of 2012 selection by 500px. Stripped of unnecessary details, his winning black and white picture titled “Passenger” convey the fundamental metaphors of life – the horizon, a road, a solitary tree, and the same black silhouette in the distance.
