Mexican, born in June 30, 1990. When she was a child simple visions made incursion in her life, such visions she exaggerated or included in elements of living things through imagination, capturing them in her drawings. When she grew up, her skills were not enough to express clearly her artistic experience; therefore she decides to put it off for two years hoping to find another vocation.

At 16, counting with a low training in visual arts, as a result of her self-taught formation, she starts to feel an interest for digital photography. Having incipient whirlpools of personality, she starts to experiment with digital manipulation, with the objective of creating corporal modifications to herself.
She starts looking for the way to her own artistic personality, finding in the positive, vivid and colorful metamorphosis her cosmogony. Mariana starts to play with the transformation and experience’s influence, getting surrounded by a certain aura and holding special devotion for elements of nature, analogies, and the astrological environment, giving birth to a whole new and even fist stage of her artistic work. Is in this way that in 2007 she opens her first exhibition “El Diario del Decapitolio” and a year later, in 2008 Mariana decides to start a career in Graphic Design, isolated by a demanding environment of professional degrees.

Her work has quickly gotten involved with important art guilds, generating both rejection and praise, evoking a sensitive work, overflowing with passion and with a life’s philosophy based on the beauty of the human’s metamorphosis, the values and the charm of the imagination, loving each stage of the human been. Her work has been exhibited abroad in many countries around the world.

Mariana Palova (1990) es una joven artista originaria de Jalisco, México. De formación autodidacta, su obra está basada principalmente en la belleza de la metamorfosis humana, utilizando su cuerpo para crear modificaciones corporales de sí misma como medio de expresión artística. Artista sensible y de rebosante imaginación, pretende canalizar sus propias emociones, muchas veces envueltas en escenografías surrealistas en las que fusiona fotografía y pintura a través de la manipulación digital de sus imágenes. Ha realizado exposiciones individuales en Estados Unidos y en Europa. Os dejamos con la reflexión que hace ella misma sobre su trabajo: “La magia de la imaginación humana es mi principal inspiración, el interpretar sus voces, los cantos del vientre de la mujer, la ensoñación del hombre hacia lo que le rodea, la silueta lunar que se interpreta a través de la figura femenina, todo influye en la creación estética de mis piezas. El realizar un ritual de unión entre mi espíritu y la naturaleza astral que me rodea es sin duda la vena de mi técnica ilustrativa; el verme a mí misma como masilla de mis visiones me convierte en un oráculo hacia mi cosmos. Y jamás he encontrado en mi camino una sensación más enervante”.
