MARÍLIA COELHO AND BRUNO KURRU
source: highlike submit
A webart that mixes the dance with diverse visual and technological languages, bringing up the movement in different aesthetic intersections and imaginary contexts. It’s also interactive, may have a new composition made by the visitors, opening up to new meanings. It was programmed with open source technologies and developed as a living limitless organism, where the artists can post content at any time, changing the website in a non linear form – composing over or under, before or after, above or below the existing content.
With conception and dance by Marília Coelho and visual creation by Bruno Kurru, the artwork provides a stream of poetic enunciations throughout its long extension, permeated by values from the choices they make in their own lives and social environmental and existential relationships they have been experiencing.
Immaterial was realized with the Cultural Production for Internet Arts Award from the National Fundation for Arts / Ministry of Culture of Brazil, and was made available on the web on August 3, 2011.
