Sui Park Cell I & II

‘Cell’ extents my work theme to an encroachment of one’s artificial creation over its natural ego. ‘Cell’ is an abstract visualization of one’s artificial ego that may socially or individually be generated. Whether ‘Cell’ is a self created and developed ego, or superficially grafted vanity, what I attempt to show is that ‘Cell’ will grow on you, and may extend beyond one’s natural ability to contain it. ‘Cell’ thus also has a dual characteristic of dictation or restriction. ‘Cell’ may impair one’s behavior or perception, and one may eventually be contained in a ‘Cell.’
