“La proposta coinvolge in modo interessante l’idea di ‘provvisorio’. Utilizza l’aspetto temporaneo dell’installazione per impegnarsi con attenzione con lo scopo e le esigenze a breve e lungo termine del terreno”, hanno affermato i giudici. Progettato originariamente per l’Expo 2015 di Milano, The Hive è stato trasferito per due anni a Kew Gardens, nel centro di Londra, dove ha fatto parte di uno spazio per eventi. Progettato per dare ai visitatori uno sguardo sulla vita delle api che lavorano, il padiglione è stato costruito con 169.300 singoli componenti in alluminio dotati di centinaia di luci a LED. Man mano che il prato che circonda la struttura cresce, iniziano a fiorire diverse specie di piante, portando con sé i suoni di vere api che esaltano l’esperienza multisensoriale del padiglione. L’installazione estetica e simbolica ne rappresenta l’omonima, con l’obiettivo di mostrare ai visitatori l’importanza di proteggere l’ape.

A tecnologia Intel dá vida ao tecido todos os tipos de padrões que simulam bordados ou pinturas em seda: listras de néon, borboletas batendo as asas, “mapeamento” de borlas de cristal ou aurora boreal …

Inspired by the color blue’s calming qualities, Aqueous is a deep dive into our water-filled surroundings. Whether looking out at the vast horizon of the ocean or listening to the bubbling flow of a stream, water instills a sense of peace and relaxation. Through exploring the textures of liquid in all its states, this immersive installation seeks to soothe the spirit and inspire action to preserve this natural resource.

Lantink est connu pour son engagement dans l’recyclage dans la mode, en utilisant des vêtements de luxe jetés pour produire ses collections.

The Fly

O enredo do filme desenvolve-se em torno do físico Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum), que está a desenvolver uma máquina de teletransporte. Após fazer alguns testes com objetos e com um macaco, Seth, acompanhado de Veronica Quaife (Geena Davis), uma jornalista investigativa, sente-se encorajado a testar sua máquina em si próprio. Ao entrar na cabine de teletransporte, ele acaba se fundindo geneticamente a uma mosca-doméstica, tendo diversas modificações fisiológicas aproximando-o da aparência de um inseto.

Telepathic Taste et Telepathic Lunch sont des saynettes filmées qui permettent de comprendre l’usage de deux casques télépathiques sensoriels. Les vidéos illustrent le fait que l’on peut communiquer par télépathie non seulement par des pensées et des mots, mais aussi par diverses sensations physiques.
