Horizon
O limbo está no centro da arte de Chloé Moglia. Seja como integrante da Compagnie Rhizome, solo ou em produções conjuntas, a artista está sempre preocupada com a leveza. Em suas performances, que combinam força física e poesia, ela derrota as leis da gravidade e o medo das alturas. Além disso, ocorrem reflexões sobre o tempo, principalmente pela lentidão de seus movimentos. Chloé Moglia transita entre a disposição de arriscar e a busca de sentido e empolga o público ao brincar com o medo da queda. A performance de Chloé Moglia aqui apresentada intitula-se Horizon. O nome desta obra-prima física, criada em 2013 por encomenda do Festival Paris Quartier d’Été, foi escolhido de forma excelente. Der Schwebezustand steht im Zentrum der Artistik von Chloé Moglia. Ob als Mitglied der Compagnie Rhizome, solo oder in Gemeinschaftsproduktionen beschäftigt sich die Künstlerin stets mit der Schwerelosigkeit. In ihren Darbietungen, in denen sich physische Kraft und Poesie verbinden, bezwingt sie die Gesetze der Schwerkraft und der Höhenangst. Daneben finden, vornehmlich durch die Langsamkeit ihrer Bewegungen, Reflexionen über die Zeit statt. Chloé Moglia bewegt sich zwischen Risikofreude und Sinnsuche und bringt ihr Publikum zum Mitfiebern, indem sie mit der Angst vor dem Fall spielt. Die hier dargebotene Performance von Chloé Moglia trägt den Titel Horizon. Der Name dieses physischen Meisterstücks, das 2013 nach einem Auftrag des Festival Paris Quartier d’Été entstand, ist vortrefflich gewählt. Horizon ist ein Spiel zwischen der Trapezistin und einer schlanken Struktur, die sowohl als skulpturales als auch als tragendes Element dient. In dieser Konstellation erschafft Moglia ein schwereloses Spektakel, das sich perfekt in seine Umgebung einfügt.

“The work of Dmitry Kawarga normally deals a lot with ideas of biomorphism. A term and a small branch in art history that was very much influenced and formed by Hans Arp. Not just remaining in biomorphism, like Arp, Kawarga adds a whole new social and urban dimension to the works that make us think of terms like ”rhizome” developed by the post-structuralists Deleuze and Guattari. For Dada Moscow, Kawarga invented a totally new work, which seems to be quite different from the abstract biomorph works he normally does. It is an interactive installation that brings up a very powerful sense of the machine and technology fascination the society before the WWI had and it also shows the brutal consequence this fascination had. Kawarga creates a machine that brings the ideas of social models totally to the absurd.” Adrian Notz

«GridFlow» rassemble des images d’articles dont les flux RSS sont enregistrés sous forme de mosaïque. Ainsi, le projet montre une fraction de temps sans début ni fin comme un rhizome, et révèle l’esprit des temps («Zeitgeist») à travers l’accumulation ou la répétition d’éléments phares de ces jours sur le web.

A Liquid Company
Diplômée de l’École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts de Cergy, Carlotta Bailly-Borg a travaillé avec Marcelline Delbecq, Éric Maillet, Valérie Favre. À partir d’images préexistantes, Carlotta Bailly-Borg élabore un langage singulier aux accents surréalistes et développe ainsi une œuvre plastique où se télescopent des éléments empruntés à la mythologie, à la culture pop, au classicisme ou au document sportif. Carlotta Bailly-Borg procède sur le modèle du rhizome deleuzien où “tout élément peut affecter ou influencer tout autre”.
