My practice demarcates the studio as a site for transformation and transmission: a material engagement that allows for the emergence of performative gesturing and language play. I employ experimental processes and improvisational methods, creating space for happy/unhappy collisions. For me, time is love and is therefore my medium of choice. Whether material or social, engagements are durational; the work pushes towards exhaustion-exuberance. This process produces artifacts, aggregates loosely coalescent – indices of time, manifest in a multiplicity of forms including but not limited to: installation, performance, sculpture, text and video. Mostly this is private praxis, but lately I’ve been going public intermittently.
