这是由Arisekkei建筑事务所设计的市原湖畔美术馆，坐落在日本千叶，作为一个当代创意中心，除了展示现代艺术外，这里还可以举办各种研讨会和文化活动。日本工作室将其中的arisekkei画廊进行了重修，除了扩大建筑内部的展览空间外，还建立了一个多功能厅和休息室。
建筑始建于1994年，由于曾经的前廊空间布局很压抑，所以设计团队对空间布局进行了广泛的调整。利用一系列新建的钢壁，将内部的空间重新划分，并建立了新的浏览路线。旧的油漆层被刮去，露出了混凝土下面的颜色。建筑与周围自然环境结合的十分完美，让游客能够与博物馆建立亲密的关系。

An exercise in spatial manipulation and organization, the renovation of ‘ichihara lakeside museum’ in chiba, japan, provides a contemporary creative hub, hosting various workshops and cultural activities, in addition to showcasing modern art. japanese studio arisekkei undertook the complete remodeling of the gallery, restructuring both the building’s exterior and interior to offer redeveloped exhibition spaces, a multi-purpose community hall and a public lounge.
originally built in 1994, the center’s previous layout inhibited gallery space, consequently the design team made extensive structural changes to the building, inserting a series of steel walls delineating internal volumes, and creating new circulation routes. layers of paint were also removed, exposing the concrete below. the developement also frames the natural environment, allowing visitors to feel an intimate connection with the museum’s setting.
