Candida Powell-Williams graduated from the Royal College of Art, London with an MA in Sculpture in 2011. Recent solo exhibitions include The Vernacular History of the Golden Rhubarb (2015), Eastbourne; Advanced Video Attribute Terminal Assembler and Recreator (2015), The Gate Theatre, London; Glissando (2014), Bosse & Baum, London; Coade’s Elixir – an occupation (2014), Hayward Gallery Concrete Café, London; Sleight (2012), Lewisham Arthouse, London; Glissando (2012), Salisbury Art Centre, Salisbury. Candida Powell-Williams was awarded the Sainsbury Scholarship in Painting and Sculpture in 2013 and the CASS Sculpture Award in 2011.
