Christo Guelov was born in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria in 1965. In 1990 he graduated from the Nation Academy of Arts in Sofia, mayor “Frescos” with Prof. Toma Varbanov. From 1991 – 1995, he studied “Graphic Tecnologies” in Complutense University in Madrid, Spain. He has an extensive experience, creative and professional, in the field of the Digital and Audiovisual Arts. He is a winner of numerous international awards in the multimedia world and has participated in the jury of several international competitions, including the “Promax&Bda Awards”.
He has presented in the collective exhibition “So close, so far” in Sofia, Bulgaria, with his Digital Limited Collection 2012. His performance “Communication” was including in the Mini-festival of contemporary Arts “Old post or the modern means of communication” organized by Art Group “Dupini” in Veliko Tarnovo during September 2012. Lives and works in Madrid, Spain.

Separating concepts: things and events, immobility and mobility, time and timelessness, “to be” and “to become” – my focus is on the dimensions of “time” and its relativity. Its recurrence, its cycles and periods and the presence of the geometry determine the nature of my works and my creative experiments in this collection 2012.
