Felicity is one of Europe’s leading milliners, specialising in design for performance and the arts, and in the teaching of millinery.
Her millinery work includes designing for several Scottish fashion houses, private commissions, theatre productions and bespoke collections for major events, including The Royal Highland Show.
Felicity’s work has been displayed widely, from the National Gallery of Scotland to the Conservatoire in Saint Petersburg, with recent exhibitions in the Greenwich Picturehouse in London, Edinburgh City Arts Centre and at Hatworks, the UK’s museum of hats in Stockport.
She is founder and Director of the successful HATWALK, a spectacular theatrical event to highlight the talents of European milliners, heighten the profile of hatmaking as a vibrant and vigorous art form, and raise money for charity, now in its 7th year.
Felicity lectures in millinery at Queen Margaret’s University, runs millinery workshops in schools throughout Scotland, lectures on the history of millinery to many audiences including The Antique and Fine Arts Society, directs the annual HATWALK Summer School Masterclasses and holds her own Creative Millinery Workshops for private clients.
