Work: About me I was born in 1993. I’ve interested in photo-manipulating since 2004. I’ve been taking photos since 2007. I usually do (self) portraits, concept arts, photo-manipulations, fashion editorials. The essence of my photos is to visualize the physically impossible in a form of photo manipulation. I always pay attention to the rules of geometry, the color harmony and the lightning for the appropriate atmosphere of the pictures. I would like to communicate in my photographs emotions, dreams and humor. About my manipulations The editor software is just a tool to complete my pictures, I want to make an image, which looks like a real, unedited photo. I would like to shock people or make them smile with some society critics. My goal is to inspire the viewer to think, to feel what I felt.

Obwohl die Zwanzigjährige gerade erst ihren Abschluss an der Moholy-Nagy Universität für Kunst und Design in Budapest gemacht hat, ist sie mit ihren surrealen Motiven derzeit äußerst gefragt. In ihren Bilderserien versucht sie, das physikalisch Unmögliche zu visualisieren und damit entweder zu schocken oder die Menschen durch verkehrte Verhältnisse zum Lachen zu bringen. Das geht natürlich nicht ohne Fotomontage, aber für Borsi ist dies die einzige Möglichkeit, um dem Betrachter ihren speziellen Blick auf die Welt näher zu bringen. Dabei überlässt sie nichts dem Zufall, denn alle Arbeiten sind in Bezug auf Komposition und Farbharmonie bis ins kleinste Detail aufeinander abgestimmt. Außerdem ist es sehr interessant zu sehen, dass die Künstlerin Photoshop einerseits als Werkzeug nutzt, um Meisterwerke von Dali oder Magritte in eine zeitgenössische Entsprechung zu überführen und damit phantastische Geschichten zu erzählen, während sie in anderen Fotoarbeiten die Mittel der Bildmanipulation bewusst sichtbar macht, um eben diese “realitätsverschönernden” Effekte zu ironisieren.

Egyike azoknak a fotósoknak, akik igazán mernek, és igenis elénk tartják a tükröt. Mindamellett, hogy elgondolkodtató tartalmat és mélyebb érzelmeket közvetít, a humort sem fél bevetni. Álomszerű világot teremt, ahol a fizika törvényeit bevágja egy szekrény legalsó polcának legmélyére. Ha Flóra világába lépünk, higgyünk a szemünknek. Borsi Flóra tavaly keltett máig is visszhangzó robbanást Time Travel című, manipulált képekből álló fotósorozatával. Felsorolni sem lehet, hány nemzetközi portálon, művészeti és fotós blogon jelent meg, szerepelt különböző médiumokban, és maga az Adobe is megosztotta a munkáit.

A Real Life Models sorozatát nézve nehezen hiszi el az ember, hogy ezek a “valós modellek” igazából nem léteznek. A képei persze nem csak arról szólnak, hogyan grimaszol leginkább maga Flóra, mint modell. Aki nemcsak átfutja a fotóit, hanem elidőzik rajtuk, sokkal többet láthat, mint egy egyszerű fintor vagy egy levágott fül. Saját elmondása szerint persze az is a cél, hogy sokkolja az embereket , de emellett nem maradhat el a befogadó saját értelmezése sem. A geometria szabályai, a színharmónia és a megvilágítás is fontos elemei a fotóknak, így válnak teljessé.
