Born in 1976, lives in Bali and Yogyakarta-Indonesia, studied Communication at Faculty of Social and Political Science of Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. Was a musician, produced recording albums and performances during 1995-1999. Visual arts then became the main focus in the years after. Trained and learned to be visual artist by and from the local art community. Produces installations, videos, sounds, performances and scenographies. Working for years with Teater Garasi, a Yogyakarta based contemporary theatre group, give a significant influences to the artistic approaches.
Studied Communication at Faculty of Social and Political Science of Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta.

Jompet Kuswidananto was born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 1976. He was trained as a musician and then became involved in the visual arts scene. He took part in several international shows such as “Modernization & Urbanization” at Marronnier Art Center, Seoul (2003); 3rd Fukuoka Art Triennale (2005), Equatorial Rhythms at Stenersenmuseet, Oslo (2007); Yokohama Triennale (2008); Jakarta Biennale XIII (2009); 10e Biennale de Lyon (2009), and “The Tradition of the New” at Sakshi Gallery, Mumbai (2010).
