The Big Idea
Communication in art has always been the reflection of real and fictional. The world is changing and it is not enough to see art. More and more people want to be an actors and self to create what to see. The extensions of sensitivity lies in our three columns. It allows the viewer how it can be influenced more senses. Dynamic-kinetic sculpture in combination with future sensitivity is in the understanding of art. As the distance between people leads us to use a different type of communication- the real and digital, and in kinetic sculpture receives game off and change shape, light and sound. This change contributes to the different sensations in people.

Angel Petkov, Stela Stoynova and Vasil Vasilev are the people who stands behind the creative team “Kinetic” since the beginning of 2010. Studying sculpture at the National Academy of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria, we make our kinetic sculptures from scrap and unusable objects – mechanisms that provoke the senses and expand perceptions. Our work examines the interdependence between human and machine, the absurdity and the provocation of today. Viewers can intereact with the objects and provoke different reactions. We have participated in many festivals and initiatives such as The Bridge Fest, art season in Sfumato theatre, DA fest, Festival of Robotics and Interactive Objects, the European initiative “Youth on the Move”, exhibitions with the project “Kinetic Sphere”, participation in Kinetica Art Fair 2012. Technology and the art are inspired our innovation mind even before an years ago. Our project for “Zero 1, 2012” is for three columns These columns have five vertical walls build of smaller planes.. Columns are interactive and sensory, using infra red sensors and such a distance. The three sites are a symbol of communication which is very important part of the world today. The relationship between technology and art is a valuable element in our concept for this installation because the audience, viewers become participants in the idea and the object. Sensation of sculptural composition lies in the fact that when you get closer to one of the sites, regardless of which of the five sides some three modules starts to fold testify. When folded will hear different sounds and geometric holes in which from there will be light choreography. When the viewer came another step module that is in operation at the first appearance in the range of sensors, is harvested in the closed position off the sound and light. Simultaneously trigger another three modules in the stage of dissolution accompanied by sound and light. The same principle works and third module after another step towards closer to the kinetic system. This work and the three columns arranged in a composition. Further details: Approximate footprint: 10 feet x 10 feet (3 meters x 3 meters). The objects will be white. We will fold and unfold through pistons, commanded by the controller “ Arduino mega”. Power will be converted to 12V. The height of each of the three columns is 1 meter and 98 centimeters.They gonna build with two component, incombustible, aluminium material.
