Made by Chinese (2012) is a hand sculpted installation, which is a hanging structure of five-hundred chicken feet, approximately 6 feet above the ground; the placement of the sculpture creates an uncomfortable sensation to the viewer. The creation of the dome shape is a metaphor as what I see culture is. Because of the fixed height of how the chicken feet hang, viewers of different height will have different perspectives of the work. It challenges one’s body movement, and investigates how far the viewers take their moves and step inside the sculpture.
