LISBETH ANTOINE

Work: Re-interpretation of runway photography; Once a collection is showcased it’s time for the post-show. Then starts the hard work for buyers, editors, writers, photographers, and all the creative artists involved in the industry. Illustration and graphic design have always been related to fashion since the beginning (remember those vintage covers on magazines such as Vogue?) so it’s interesting to see works like Lisbeth Antoine’s, who uses collage and digital tools to create her pieces and completely distort the the female silhouette.
In this series we can watch the highlights of KTZ’s SS14 show at London Fashion Week totally distorted but still holds the essence of the looks; volume and colors. (Text by Mikel Serna Bermejo)

Backstage photography seems to be the little sister of front house, but there are great moments that only good photographers catch, which give us another point of view from collections, as photographer Katy Davies did on last London Fashion Week AW13 for Fashion156.com before the KTZ show. These pre-show instants are a good way to see the finer details and to show people the behind scenes of a runway, plus how they work.

Collage made for Linda Farrow using runway images of the KTZ show SS13.
KTZ is a collaboration between Koji Maruyama, Sasko Bezovski and Marjan Pejoski. Koji is Japanese. Sasko and Majan are both from Macedonia. Marjan and Koji studied fashion designat Central Saint Martins while Sasa was studying architecture. They are the business minds that stand behind the retail network of cult stores ‘Kokon to Zai’, combining music and fashion, based in London and Paris. KTZ comes from Kokon To Zai, which loosely translates as ‘from here to then’. It’s the journey, be it style or fashion. KTZ presents their new style of eyewear in collaboration with Linda Farrow under the line Linda Farrow Projects this Spring / Summer 2013. The concept of Linda Farrow Projects brings together creativity working with the most exciting designers to date offering a diverse selection under one brand – Linda Farrow Projects.

Collage Art. London.
