Mae Ryan is an LA based photographer and videographer working for KPCC – Southern California Public Radio.

She received a B.S. from Stanford University and is a graduate of the photojournalism and documentary photography program at The International Center of Photography.

Her work has appeared in Time, The Wall Street Journal, The FADER, NPR and MTV. She is recognized as an Emerging Talent at Getty Reportage.

In 2010 she attended the Eddie Adams workshop and in 2011 she interned at Magnum In Motion. Her multimedia piece The Uprising won first place in the 2011 Pictures of the Year International awards.
