Majoros Áron Zsolt 1982-ben született, 2008-ban végzett a Képzőművészeti Egyetemen, Kő Pál volt a mestere. Tehetségét az is bizonyítja, hogy vizsgamunkáját beválogatták a Best of Diploma 2008 kiállításra. Eddig 40 kiállításon szerepelt, három önálló tárlatot tudhat maga mögött. Munkáját többször elismerték, egyebek mellett 2005-ben Finta-díjjal, 2008-ban Prima Primissima Junior Díjjal tüntették ki.

A szakmához való viszonyának egyik fontos pillére a hagyomány tisztelete, ez azonban mentes a megrögzöttségektől. A faszobrászat hagyományait viszi tovább, de egyre inkább igyekszik kitágítani a technikai és műfaji lehetőségeket. Organikus rendszereket bont ki, többnyire egyetlen tömbből-rönkből, alkalmazkodva az anyag kínálta lehetőségekhez.

Alkotásaiból kitűnik, hogy rendkívüli módon kíváncsi a plasztika láthatatlan belső tereire. Hosszú és aprólékos munkával, résekkel és hasításokkal, láthatóvá teszi szobrai titokzatos, eddig elzárt világát.

Áron Zsolt Majoros graduated at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts majoring in sculpture in 2008. His master was Pál Kő. He is a member of that new young sculptor generation of striking and sharp expression, who intend to create a new technical and contextual view within the framework of traditional sculpture and plastic art.

In the spiritual center of his ever organic, yet soft and stylistic sculpture there is the ephemeral human soul, which may or can never be materialized, and which once reveals then hides itself again. The sensuously elaborated fine materials of his sculptures – the dissonant duality of wood and metal – and the transcendent contents culminating in these sculptures provide them with a nearly sacred aura. Beyond the thorough elaboration of the surface of those always three-dimensional works, around which one can go, Majoros is also very accurate in revealing and creating the invisible inside of the sculpture, in order to hide it again acting on an artistic decision. A gradually built system of the dialogue of the outside and inside is present in his three life-size sculptures, which he made for his graduation. From the transparent, revealing nature of the sculpture entitled „Shell”, which is welded from loops of a chain, he gets to the carved figure entitled „Man”, that is an inward turning, secret-burdened piece to give a contrast.
