Mika Tajima’s (Los Angeles, CA 1975) Here or There, 2007 is an architectural installation, composed of disparate materials, that gives the spectator the chance to interact with the work and its surrounding space. The second installation, the seriesFurniture Art, is composed of varnished plexiglas panels, placed on the wall in a grid-like sequence. The artist ideally associates abstract images to geographical places. Mika Tajima’s works have been exhibited in important venues as the Austin’s Visual Art Center and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2011.
