INVISIBLE FEAR. VISIBLE FEAR. who has not been pursued by fear? How many times are we aware of feeling this emotion? And how many times does the transparency of this emotion arrive suddenly and you don’t know how to react?

Ryan Everson artwork makes me to think about this emotion. Realizing that now, in this present life, I’m afraid. That the transparency of past experiences and the present surroundings provoke me F.E.A.R. His sculpture, a giant bold letters sit in a field, they should be easy to spot, but they’re covered in mirrors so they mix with same colors and patterns of the surroundings. This action becomes invisible and full of stuffs. It doesn’t matter how big the fear emotion is, sometimes you cannot recognise it.

Definition of Fear: it is an emotion induced by a perceived threat which causes entities to quickly pull far away from it and usually hide. It is a basic survival mechanism occurring in response to a specific stimulus, such as pain or the threat of danger.

“My most recent work comes from abstract emotional states stirred up from specific self-reflective moments. These moments arise as I become more aware of myself in the present and my inability to control the future” Ryan Everson words.
