Spanish artist Sergio Prego was born in San Sebastian in 1969. Prego works in many different fields of media including video, photography, performance art, installation, and sound. His work attempts to transform the relationship between space and time in order to distort the way we comprehend them. Prego has exhibited extensively in the United States and abroad most recently at Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga in Spain and a special installation of Anti-/Alter- was included in Art Unlimited at Art37 Basel in Switzerland. Other venues include the Palazzo delle Papesse Centro Arte Contemporánea in Siena, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, and P.S. 1MoMA in New York.

Sergio Prego estudió en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Bilbao y posteriormente completó su formación en Arteleku, San Sebastián. Prego ha realizado exposiciones a nivel internacional entre las que destaca la reciente instalación Ikurrina Quarter, realizada expresamente para Art Unlimited en Art 41 Basilea. Otros lugares destacables en los que se han podido ver sus trabajos son el Palazzo delle Papesse Centro Arte Contemporánea di Siena, The Museum of Contemporary Art de Denver, PS1 de Nueva York y Guggenheim de Bilbao.
