As próteses realistas são idênticas a um membro humano. São feitas de materiais à base de silicone que se assemelham à nossa pele. Cada prótese é customizada para combinar com a cor e a textura da pele e o tipo de corpo da pessoa que receberá o membro mecânico.

O trabalho de Sophie definitivamente ultrapassa algumas tênues linhas que tentam definir o que é e o que não é arte. Ela reinventou a forma como as pessoas vêem tanto as próteses quanto quem precisa delas. Chama atenção agora não o que lhes falta, mas sim o que eles têm.
