MyZeil Shopping Mall is a project designed by Studio Fuksas in Frankfurt, Germany in 2009. The sculptural glass facade creates impressive and dynamic spaces within the public atriums, creating a unique environment for a common activity. The 77,000 square meter structure includes shops, leisure spaces, kids areas, restaurants, fitness center and parking.

The design is inspired by geography and topography. The facade is conceived as a river that has different depths reaching into the Earth. The structure is inspired by the historical context of the site. The fluid shape comes from the connection of the Zeil, the shopping boulevard in the heart of Frankfurt, and the Thurn and Taxis palace. The two facades on opposite ends of the building are designed to evoke the two distinct senses of the city. The modern city on the facade running along the Zeil expresses leisure, entertainment and relaxation. The historic-facing facade maintains a formal appearance.

On the side of the Zeil the building has an internalizing quality. The facade challenges the exterior-interior distinction with a void that is pulled into the atrium of the mall, looking very much like a vortex. The facade is designed with alternating panels of the glass and steel. Mostly transparent, it floods all levels of the mall with natural sunlight. The shopping mall is spread over six floors and includes a square and meeting place that also has a fitness area and restaurants. It is an interior public plaza that is absorbed into the program of the building.

共7萬多平方米的MyZeil購物商城，主要結構以混凝土與玻璃組合構成，抬頭一看，曲面透明三角玻璃為拱起的建築頂部更添視覺炫麗，內部包括商店街、休閒場所、親子互動區、餐廳美食、健身中心、商業會議中心等，動態的空間設計創造一個獨一無二的享樂環境。

樓與樓中間巨型漩渦就這樣直挺挺地向上流竄！其設計靈感來自於地理與地形的流動感，每一層都有其不同的深度，彼此互相穿梭、串連。

建築外牆上各式不規則的細縫與玻璃的透光性，德國的陽光就這麼自然地灑在購物城裡的人們，大剌剌地投進內部的不同角落，讓購物的愉悅時光都停留在這一刻當中。

MyZeil不僅在空間上做了相當用心的設計，同時也對環保盡一分心，利用購物商城的屋頂可收集大量雨水，建立再循環系統轉換成商城內的清潔及其他用水。

El Centro comercial MyZeil es un proyecto diseñado por Studio Fukcac en Frankfurt, Alemania en el 2009. La fachada escultural de cristal crea espacios impresionantes y dinámicos dentro de los atrios públicos, creando un ambiente único para la actividad común. La estructura de 77,000m2 incluye tiendas, espacios de ocio, áreas infantiles, restaurantes, gimnasio y estacionamiento. (Mie, 28 Nov 2012)

El diseño está inspirado por la geografía y topografía. La fachada está concebida como un río que tiene diferentes profundidades que llegan al interior de la Tierra. La estructura está inspirada por el contexto histórico del sitio. La forma fluida viene de la conexión del Zeil, el boulevard comercial y el corazón de Frankfurt, y el lugar de Taxis y Thurn.

Las 3 fachadas en extremos opuestos del edificio están diseñadas para evocar los 2 distintos sentidos de la ciudad. La ciudad moderna en la fachada va a lo largo del ocio expresado de Zeil, el entretenimiento y la relajación. La fachada histórica de enfrente mantiene una apariencia formal.

Del lado del Zeil, el edificio tiene una cualidad internacionalizada. La fachada desafía la distinción exterior-interior con un vano que se jala al interior del atrio del centro comercial, viéndose mucho como un vórtice. La fachada está diseñada con paneles alternos de cristal y acero. Mayormente transparente, este fluye en todos los niveles del centro comercial con luz natural.

El centro comercial se distribuye en 6 plantas y cuenta con una plaza y centro de reunión que también tiene un gimnasio y restaurantes. Es una plaza interior pública que es absorbida en el programa del edificio.
