Thierry Fontaine, a photographer, grew up on the island of Reunion. He imagines his pictures by observing around him the movements of the social models according to the places where he is. The movements of these models create meetings and new contacts. The crossings which result from it become intermingled until they produce inter-breedings. These contacts alter the established models, raising questions. He stages them and photographs improbable, opposing meetings from situations that he creates with model characters, prepared scenes, sculptures and specially made objects, organized exactly in a chosen context..
