The fountain zone which is the central element of the new park, faces the Central House of Artists and is separated from the river by a linden alley. A fountain jet, 60 metres long and 14 metres wide, is one of the options of the so called ”dry” fountains when the edge of the water is level with the paving. The fountain has an internal system of dynamic lighting that allows various lighting patterns.

Wowhaus is a collaboration between Scott Constable and Ene Osteraas-Constable. For over a decade, Wowhaus has created works in the public realm, operating at the interstices of art and design. Our work includes permanent and temporary public art, furniture, architecture and environmental design.

Wowhaus explores the common denominators of everyday experience, the central question of how things, places and relationships acquire meaning. We are interested in the social underpinnings of “ordinary” or vernacular forms; in the social networks that sustain and foster community and innovation. Our projects seek to connect communities to their current ecological and societal realities, aiming to strengthen the mutually beneficial potential of each.
