FLOW is a smart wall composed of hundreds of ventilators that interact with passing visitors. By walking and interacting with the wall, visitors trigger an illusive landscape of transparent fields and artificial wind.

Measuring several meters, the most recent version of FLOW heightens the visitor’s consciousness as a collective body, becoming one with space and technology.

This project was awarded the Dutch Design Award in the category of Best Autonomous Spatial Design. FLOW is officially part of the 21c Museum Art Collection USA.

In a world shifting between the analog and the digital, Studio Roosegaarde is the social design lab of artist Daan Roosegaarde with his team of designers and engineers.

The studio creates interactive designs that explore the dynamic relation between people, technology and space. The studio develops its own technology and is internationally known for interactive projects such as Dune, Intimacy and Smart Highway.

Roosegaarde has been the focus of exhibitions at Tate Modern, National Museum in Tokyo, Victoria and Albert Museum and winner of numerous international innovation awards. Studio Roosegaarde also has a strong experience with public space commissions for the city of Rotterdam, Singapore, Eindhoven and Stockholm.

O estúdio Roosegaarde, da Noruega, criou uma obra de arte interativa, do qual abriga 2 grandes painéis composto por centenas de coolers que reagem à presença humana.
Cada ventoinha é ativada ou desativada individualmente quando detectado movimentos e sons dos espectadores, causando uma interessante ilusão ambiente com transparência e vento artificial.
Batizado de Flow 5.0, a obra criada por Daan Roosegaarde e sua equipe e estará em exibição no dia 3 de Janeiro em Ljubljana, Slovenia. Portanto, como é muito provável que você não veja a obra pessoalmente, segue abaixo um vídeo desta obra de arte.

Projekt stovek ventilátorů nazvaný Flow 5.0 vytvořil Daan Roosegaarde z nizozemského Studia Roosegaarde. Cílem této instalace bylo sestrojení umělých stěn, které reagují na váš pohyb a zvuk. Po přiblížení člověka ke stěnám tak vzniká neuvěřitelná atmosféra, doplňující klamnou krajinu s umělým větrem.

Flow 5.0 je vytvořen ze stovek ventilátorů, mnoha hliníku, senzorů, mikrofonů, elektroniky, software a dalších média. Díky takto technologicky rozsáhlému projektu spolupracoval společně s autorem Peter de Man (zvuk a interakce), Axis Stuifmeel (technologie) a Marnix Rijnart (elektronika).

Jeho skulptury jsou srážky technologie a lidského těla. V této interakci skulptury vytvoří situaci, kde se host a prostor spojí v jeden celek. Projekt byl vyvinut jako architektonický zákrok na radnici v Haagu pro novou mediální slavnost TodaysArt. Dvě stěny Flow 5.0 na radnici v nizozemském Haagu Při přejetí rukou okolo Flow 5.0 se větráčky sami roztočí Efektní je procházení se podél stěn ze stovek ventilátorů Detailní pohled na stěnu z ventilátorů, hliníku, senzorů a mikrofonů. Daan Roosegaarde, který je autorem několika úžasných uměleckých instalací zkoumajících kombinaci umění, zážitku a interakce, vystudoval akademii krásných umění AKI v Enschede a Berlage Institute, laboratoř architektury v Rotterdamu.

Aktuálně působí jako kreativní ředitel studia Roosegaarde, které funguje jako nezávislá umělecká laboratoř, ve níž své myšlenky realizuje. Mezi jeho projekty patří i několik inscenací, ve kterých si hraje se světelnými efekty a aplikuje je jak do interiérů, tak i do venkovních prostorů.

각 팬에 센서가 달려 행인의 움직임에 따라 팬들이 작동하는데요

이 설치작품은 독일작가인 Daan Roosegaarde 가 슬로베니아의 Kapelica Gallery에 전시될 예정이니다
작품명은 FLOW 5.0입니다. 방문객들에게 시원한 산들바람을 선사할듯 하네요.

This unusual art installation took hundreds and hundreds of individual cooling fans, and tied them together with sensors that detect the movements of passersby to produce an amazing visual and sensory experience. Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde worked with a team of technical wizards to create this mammoth interactive work entitled Flow 5.0. The display dynamically adjusts the speed and direction of the fans, reacting to visitors’ movements. The installation was constructed as two 10-meter-long walls which immerse visitors in the center of the artwork (and gives them a nice cool breeze while they’re at it).
