As instalações interativas do artista e design japonês Kazunori Matsumura são criadas a partir de material orgânico, luz natural e gravações de sons encontrados em destinos longínquos da natureza, com o objetivo de restabelecer a conexão entre os seres humanos. Segundo Kazunori, é importante diminuímos a velocidade para observar os belos detalhes da vida cotidiana.
Essa peculiar abordagem está chamando a atenção de salões internacionais, da mídia especializada e dos blogs da área de artes e design. Sua recente escultura sonora intitulada A Voz dos Ventos, feita com tubos de barro branco semelhante a galhos de árvores e ossos, foi exposta na participou da último Fuori Salone 2012 , a importante Semana de Design de Milão

This is a sound device for gather up the nature voice.
The Japanese primitive people recognized the wind as voice of heaven. The people worshiped the wind as sacrament and listened carefully the voice. The people thought that the wind has personality.
“The Voice of Winds” is formed by a number of pipes in the shape of a tree branch. Dispersed white tree branches look like bones of animate beings.The material is earthenware.
When the winds run through in the pipes, the voice of nature break through.
This device is designed to communicate with nature and to get back the primitive conception of nature.
This work was exhibited as in the form of installation with a sound at the Post Design Gallery(MEMPHIS) in Milan. The sound for the installation was picked and made by the designer himself.

His main focus lays on spatial design and direction, showing direction, furniture design, and three-dimensional art works.
He studied Architecture, Interior and Landscape designs at department and completed his course of studies at graduate school at Tama Art University in Japan.
He is good at three-dimensional designs and art works related to commercial space.

風の声を聴くためのサウンドデバイス。
陶器でできた約100本の枝の形の部材から構成されている。
白い陶でつくられた部材はある時は木のボリュームを感じさせ、ある時は動物の骨のようにも見える。
各部材に風が通ると微かな音が重なって聴こえ、自然の声として現れる。
この作品は、古来日本人の自然感をもとに作られている。
作品は、2012年1月にミラノのポストデザインギャラリー(MEMPHIS)で行われたIMAGINATURE展で、デザイナー自身によって作られた音とともにインスタレーション作品として展示された。
デザインユニットt/mとして活動していた松村和典によって2012年に設立。空間デザインを基軸に家具デザイン、展覧会やミュージシャンのライブスペースのデザイン・ディレクションを行う。
2012年1月にミラノのPost Design Galleryで行われたIMAGINATURE展でのインスタレーション作品の発表を期に、アーティストとしての活動も開始。様々な分野の作家と共同しながら商業施設のアートワークのデザイン・ディレクションも手がける。
空間の特性とプロジェクトの内容を密接に関連づけながら双方の魅力を最大限に引き出すことを得意としている。

Un’installazione capace di risvegliare le emozioni provocate dal vento e intrattenere lo spettatore nel silenzio più assoluto, questa è l’opera di Kazunori Matsumura.
“The Voice of Winds”, la voce dei venti, è composta da sculture in terracotta a forma di rami cavi sospesi. Il sussurrare del vento, al loro interno richiama anime che ritornano dal passato, a noi invisibili ma delle quali cogliamo la presenza.
“Firm” è un progetto creativo ideato dal designer-artist focalizzato sulla relazione tra uomo e natura e le emozioni che quest’ultima riesce a trasmettere.
