Trong một cuộc thi thiết kế cầu bắc qua sông Seine (thuộc Paris, Pháp), kiến trúc sư Atelier Zundel Cristea đã đưa ra một bản vẽ về một chiếc cầu được bơm phồng với đường đi làm bằng bạt nhún lò xo, nó có tên là Trampoline Bridge (cầu bạt nhún lò xo). Đúng như tên gọi, nếu như muốn qua bên kia bờ sông, chúng ta đành phải chấp nhận nhún nhảy, bay lượn, nhào lộn liên tục nhờ vào lực đàn hồi từ lò xo. Về cấu tạo, Trampoline Bridge được tạo từ các module được bơm căng phồng, tương tự như chiếc phao khổng lồ có đường kính 30m, và chứa 3700 mét khối không khí. Tại mỗi đoạn nối sẽ là các tấm bạt được trải căng dài và cũng có độ đàn hồi nhất định.

Mặc dù chỉ dừng lại ở mức ý tưởng và còn nằm trên bản vẽ thiết kế, nhưng hy vọng nó sẽ trở thành hiện thực bởi hãy tưởng tượng còn gì thú vị hơn khi vừa bay nhảy như người nhện, lại vừa có thể ngắm tháp Eiffel từ các góc nhìn khác nhau.

Tuy nhiên có lẽ cây cầu này sẽ chống chỉ định với người già, người có tuổi hay những ai bị bệnh về xương khớp hay sợ độ cao.

“A Bridge in Paris”, c’est le nouveau projet un peu dinguo de la société AZC.

Le but ? installer une sorte de trampoline/pont géant pour traverser la Seine à l’ouest de Paris (vers le pont de Bir-Hakeim).

AZC s’est exprimé à ce sujet : “It appears to us that Paris has the bridges and passages necessary for the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic across its waterways. Our intention is to invite its visitors and inhabitants to engage on a newer and more playful path across this same water.”

En gros, les ponts de Paris c’est le bordel, nous on veut poser un énorme trampoline pour que ce soit plus drôle. En gros. Chaques modules du pont feront 30 mètres de diamètres, les bouées flottantes seront en PVC et rattachées par d’immenses cordes, emplies de 3700 mètres cubes d’air et en forme d’arche.

We could cross the river Seine on a regular ol’ stone bridge. Or, we could dream up the most whimsical — and consequently difficult — way of crossing Paris’ main artery, transforming the commute into something extraordinary.

Design firm Atelier Zündel Cristea opted for the latter. They conceptualized a bridge for the river Seine made up of humungous floating trampolines.

As the design firm puts it, the bridge is “dedicated to the joyful release from gravity.”

Imagine: three donut-shaped PVC structures filled with 3,700 cubic meters of air. In the center of each of these giant life preservers is a trampoline measuring 30 meters in diameter.

These floating bouncy platforms are twisted to form arches and attached together with cord to form a bridge connecting the banks of the river Seine.

Stairs at either end allow access to the trampoline bridge, with a slide option for people who need to descend in a rush.

The design came third in an Archtriumph competition for ideas for new crossings on the river Seine. The Seine already has 37 bridges.

This bridge sounds like the best idea ever, right? But dvice.com points out:

“This is a terrible, terrible idea … it’ll never happen, because people would sue the berets off of anyone who put it up for the injuries that would ensue, but, wow, I want this to be real.”

Coming in first place for the competition is the “Water At-traction” design by bureau faceB. It is a bridge made of steel cables that wobbles when people walk on it, to give pedestrians a sense of the movement of water on the river Seine.

Trampolines sound more fun.

Las infraestructuras cada vez son más importantes e interesantes, son las que nos permiten conectar unas partes de la cuidad con otras, pero y ¿por que no ser más divertidas? Esto que puede no ser una prioridad entre los ingenieros y urbanistas que tienden a dar más importancia a la función que a la forma y la sostenibilidad. La el estudio de arquitectura Atelier Zündel Cristea ha creado un proyecto de puente en París, que es un puente trampolin, un puente que es como una cama elástica que puedes rebotar a través de el para cruzar el río, seguramente no sea muy cómodo pero es una idea original, solo tienes que quitarte los zapatos y saltar, seguramente es una esperiencia liberadora.
