Mobile, organique, éphémère, aléatoire, sensible : à la recherche d’un numérique vivant. La compagnie Adrien M / Claire B travaille dans le champ des arts numériques et des arts vivants depuis 2004. Elle crée des formes allant du spectacle aux expositions associant le réel et le virtuel, avec comme spécificité le développement sur-mesure de ses propres outils informatiques. Elle met l’humain et le corps au centre des enjeux technologiques et artistiques, utilisant les outils d’aujourd’hui au service d’une poésie atemporelle, construisant et utilisant un langage visuel basé sur le jeu et le plaisir comme support d’imaginaire. Son projet est porté par Adrien Mondot et Claire Bardainne. La compagnie est installée sur la Presqu’île de Lyon où elle occupe un atelier de recherche et de création. La compagnie a été associée à l’Hexagone Scène Nationale Arts Sciences – Meylan pour les années 2009-2010-2011. Elle a été associée au Manège de Reims Scène Nationale pour les saisons 2005-2006-2007. La compagnie Adrien M / Claire B est conventionnée par la DRAC Rhône-Alpes, par la Région Rhône-Alpes et soutenue par la ville de Lyon.

Hakanaï est une performance chorégraphique pour une danseuse évoluant dans un volume d’images en mouvement. Dans la langue japonaise, Hakanaï définit ce qui est impermanent, fragile, évanescent, transitoire, entre le rêve et la réalité. Mot très ancien, il évoque une matière insaisissable associée à la condition humaine et à sa précarité, mais associée aussi à la nature. Il s’écrit en conjuguant deux éléments, celui qui désigne l’homme et celui qui désigne le songe. Ce collage symbolique est le point de départ de cette partition pour une danseuse rencontrant des images, faisant naître un espace situé à la frange de l’imaginaire et du réel. Les images sont animées en direct, selon des modèles physiques de mouvement, au rythme d’une création sonore également interprétée en direct. À l’issue du temps de performance, l’installation numérique est ouverte aux spectateurs.

Hakanaï is a solo choreaographic performance that unfolds through a series of images in motion. In Japanese Hakanaï denotes that which is temporary and fragile, evanescent and transient, and in this case something set between dreams and reality. While widely associated with nature, the term is now often used to elicit an intangible aspect of the human condition and its precariousness. It encompasses two elements: that concerning the human being as well as that related to dreams. This symbolic relationship is the foundation of the dance composition in which a dancer gives life to a space somewhere between the borders of imagination and reality, through her interactions with the images she encounters. The images are on-stage animations that move in physical patterns according to the rhythm of the live sounds that they follow. The performance’s outcome is the revelation of a digital installation to its audience.

They create many forms of art, from stage performances to exhibitions combining real and virtual worlds with IT tools that were developed and customised specifically for them. They place the human body at the heart of technological and artistic challenges and adapt today’s technological tools to create a timeless poetry through a visual language based on playing and enjoyment, which breeds imagination.
