BIO

Axol is a multidisciplinary artist working across animation, media arts, filmmaking, and performance. Based in China / Japan, their practice centers on bodies and their relation to constructed systems and space, examining modes of (hetero/appearance/etc.) normativity within contemporary East Asian contexts.
