DEEP-SKIN – à fleur de peau is a speculative fiction in which two characters engaged in an online dialogue have the opportunity to explore a new form of intimacy where touch would no longer have a reason to exist, but where other modes of relationship would be put in place through another skin, more capable of emotionally and psychologically touching the human spirit: a kind of even more tactile skin, connected to new emotional depths.

Sandrine Deumier is a multidisciplinary artist working in the fields of performance, poetry and video art whose work investigates post-futurist themes through the development of aesthetic forms related to digital imaginaries.
