‘Action/Performance realized in Dorado,Puerto Rico. One hundred and sixty five glass spheres containing a replica of the trunk of the Pterocarpus tree, were “weaved” on the lake The action took place throughout two days until all the spheres were connected. Seven students of the School of Fine Arts of Puerto Rico participated as assistants and collaborators.
The Pterocapus Officinalis is a magnificent tree which sap is bool red and known by the Caribbean indians for its healing properties. These trees once populated the coastal ecosystem of the island. Nowadays there are only seven small protected forests in different locations in Puerto Rico.
