Flaka Haliti, born 1982, Prishtina. Lives and works between Munich, Prishtina and Vienna. Her work is conceptual, based on mix media. She graduated in 2006 from Academy of Arts, Prishtina University and later on, between 2008 and 2013, continued and finished her education at Städelschule, of Meisterschule of Fine Arts, Frankfurt am Main. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions including places and institutions such as MUSAC, Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla, León Spain; ZKM Museum of Contemporary Art, Karlsruhe; Gallery Martin Janda, Vienna; Weltkulturen Museum, Frankfurt; Kosovo National Gallery, BRUSSELS BIENNIAL 1; Prishtina; Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina; press to exit project space, Skopje; Vienna Fair; Sculpture Museum Gliptoteka HAZU, Zagreb; Artist-run Sweden Art Fair, Stockholm; Sparwasser .HQ. She is a winner of the First Prize of »Agriculture and Banking«, organized by Städelschule and Rentenbank. Since 2013 she is a PhD student in Practice program at Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.

Flaka Haliti was born in 1982 in Pristina, Kosovo, and is currently based in Frankfurt am Main and Pristina. In 2005 she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Pristina University, and is currently continuing her education at Staedelschule, Frankfurt/Main, under Professor Judith Hopf. She works as conceptual artist using video, sound, installation, photography and performance. In her practice she has shown continuous interest and courage in exploring challenging themes present in society and/or the art scene.
Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions, presentations, symposiums and workshops internationally. Flaka Haliti is the winner of the First Prize in “Agriculture and Banking”, organized by Staedelschule Frankfurt/Main and Rentenbank, Frankfurt am Main 2009. She is also a recipient of a DAAD scholarship 2009-2010
