An aquarium containing a domestic globe, a motor to turn the globe and electronic valve or drip feed which releases a fluoresceine tracing dye onto the sphere. As the sphere turns, the green dye wraps itself around the sphere, enveloping it in what appears to be a thin gas or atmosphere that surrounds the planet Earth. The difference between emissions and atmosphere, the ‘man-influenced’ and the ‘natural’ climate cannot be easily defined.

Collectif Hehe : Duo formé à Paris en 2001, HeHe se compose d’Helen Evans (GB) et Heiko Hansen (DE). Ensemble, ils cherchent à agir par le moyen de l’art sur le contexte social, avec l’envie d’abolir les frontières entre l’art et la vie. Pour cela, les HeHe travaillent beaucoup sur l’amplification, l’agrandissement ou le rapetissement des phénomènes de la vie quotidienne. Expérimentant toujours de nouveaux matériaux, les phases de prototypes et de tests sont pour eux indispensables. Elles leur permettent d’évoluer et les aident à révéler l’absurdité des objets auxquels ils trouvent de nouvelles fonctions. HeHe a ainsi déjà travaillé sur la qualité de l’air, les fumées d’usines, l’éclairage de rue, les moyens de transport et les technologies de la sécurité.

Collective Hehe: Duo formed in Paris in 2001, consists of HeHe Helen Evans (GB) and Heiko Hansen (DE). Together they seek to act by means of the art of the social context, with the desire to abolish the borders between art and life. For this, HeHe working hard on the amplification, extension or shortening of the phenomena of everyday life. Always experimenting with new materials, the phases of prototypes and tests are essential for them. They allow them to evolve and help to reveal the absurdity of objects they find new functions. HeHe has worked on air quality, factory smoke, street lighting, transportation and security technologies.
