The Alignment Problem – Brazil

A creator and his AI creation navigate the complex labyrinth of aligning artificial intelligence with human values. This experimental short film uses the Alignment Problem as a guiding thread in a dialogue between a male creator and a female AI,  exploring his efforts to mold it to reflect his worldview.

BIO

Guilherme Peters is an artist with international exhibitions and co-director of Proxy Reverso, awarded at the VII Semana dos Diretores. Matias Mariani, a graduate of NYU Tisch, has directed films screened at the Berlinale and released on Netflix. Roberto Winter is an artist, developer at Studio Olafur Eliasson, and co-director of award-winning films. Based in São Paulo, Primo Filmes has been producing works screened at Cannes, Berlinale, and Sundance for decades, in addition to more than 150 episodes of series in Brazil and abroad.
