How sad it is! I shall grow old, and horrible, and dreadful. But this picture will remain always young. It will never be older than this particular day of June… If it were only the other way! If it were I who was to be always young, and the picture that was to grow old! For that-for that-I would give everything! Yes, there is nothing in the whole world I would not give! I would give my soul for that!”
– Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray Ch. 2
The Mask of Dorian Gray is a functional jewel of 21st century, which works as immediate ephithelial and muscle tissue recovery. This extension of human face is as unique for every individual as is his vascular network (notice difference between structure in fig.1 and fig.3). Design process starts by aquiring MRI scan of veins in human head, and determinig importand nodes, where sensors and emitters are planted. Based on these conditions generative algorythm is set to work, calculating ideal way for dilution distribution, designing micro-needles, cables and pipes. than are data transfered to reality by Multi-Material 3D Printing Technology from composite semi-flexible metals and deployed by medical specialist. Dilution is composed in container from Botulinum toxin type A, collagen and hyaluronic acid. Proper ratio is determined by sensor in damaged cells area, data are sent to central unit, dillution is mixed based on the data, transfered and injected by corresponding emitter to repair cells immediately. Container refill is required approximately once in a six months.
