Minimum Maximum
Sie ist vor allem durch die Pionierarbeit auf dem Gebiet der elektronischen Musik bekannt geworden. Musikstücke der Band beeinflussten zahlreiche Musikstile wie Synth-Pop, Electro-Funk oder Detroit Techno. Die New York Times bezeichnete die Band als die „Beatles der elektronischen Tanzmusik“.

Fantastic Smartphones
Built around a simple mechanism, Tinder reduces the act of dating to a single swipe. This slide of the finger to the right or the left is enough to show our interest or disinterest in a profile that comes up. Although high-stakes, even when performed repeatedly, this movement can become purely mechanical and lose its meaning. As its name indicates, Automač is a device that enables us to automatically match with a maximum number of potential partners on Tinder. The automaton consists of a smartphone holder, a camera that observes the screen and a rotating mechanism to swipe on the smartphone screen. Via a screen interface, the user has the possibility to choose selection criteria. By automating this process and delegating it to a machine, Automač positions itself as an optimal machine to have a maximum amount of matches in a minimum amount of time.

Soumaya Museum

Museum buildings tend to be conceived either for maximum functionality – acting as neutral containers for art – or as iconic structures that represent a city at a particular historic moment. The Museo Soumaya was designed as both: a sculptural building that is unique and contemporary, yet one able to house a collection of international paintings, sculptures, and decorative objects dating from the fourteenth century to the present.The exterior of the building is an amorphous shape perceived differently from every angle, reflecting the diversity of the collection inside. The building’s distinctive façade is made of hexagonal aluminum modules facilitating its preservation and durability. The shell is constructed with steel columns of different diameters, each with its own geometry and shape, creating non-linear circulation paths for the visitor. The building encompasses 20,000 square meters of exhibition space divided among five floors, as well as an auditorium, café, offices, gift shop, and multipurpose lobby. The top floor is the largest space in the museum, with its roof suspended from a cantilever that allows in natural daylight.

Nemo Observatorium

Si on pouvait décrire Nemo Observatorium, on en parlerait comme d’une pièce, une chambre plutôt, qui n’aurait la possibilité d’être visitée que par une ou deux personnes maximum. Dans Nemo Observatorium, le visiteur se place au centre d’un cylindre transparent et appuie sur un bouton. Ce bouton déclenche alors un tourbillon qui fait voltiger à très haute vitesse des petites bulles de polystyrène qui se déplacent trop rapidement pour être suivies par l’œil humain. La personne située à l’intérieur décide de la durée de la tornade ( tornado ). La tornade fonctionne à partir de 5 gros ventilateurs. Un situé en dessous du spectateur et 4 autres autour du cylindre.

Début 2011, j’explorais les relations de la géométrie, de la nature et de l’être humain dans une série de 25 images que j’ai appelées «Expérience fractale». Il s’agit de la deuxième partie – poursuivre l’exploration des formes géométriques, des motifs et des fractales avec un élément supplémentaire: l’espace-temps. Cette fois, j’ai travaillé en 3D et produit un ensemble de gifs en boucle animés.
J’ai limité chaque animation à 48 images au maximum, la plupart se situent entre 10 et 15 images – pour garder la taille du fichier petite et maximiser la créativité avec ces images.

A new river boat designed for excursions on the Loire in France, capable of sailing in both shallow and deep waters, with maximum visibility for passengers, with the top of the boat a single continuous element from the hull – a closed loop.

Serpentine Pavilion

The design contrasted lightweight materials with dramatic metal cantilevered structures, rendered in a vivid red that, in a play of opposites, contrasts with the green of its park setting. In London, the colour reflects the iconic British images of traditional telephone boxes, postboxes and London buses. The building consists of bold geometric forms, large retractable awnings and a sloped freestanding wall that stands 12m above the lawn.
Striking glass, polycarbonate and fabric structures create a versatile system of interior and exterior spaces, while the flexible auditorium accommodates the changing summer weather and Park Nights, the Serpentine’s acclaimed programme of public talks and events, which attracts up to 250,000 visitors each summer.
Nouvel’s Serpentine Gallery Pavilion, the architect’s first completed building in the UK, operates as a publicly accessible structure within Kensington Gardens and as a café. The pavilion design highlights the idea of play with its incorporation of traditional French outdoor table-tennis tables.
This 2010 Pavilion is the tenth commission in the gallery’s annual series, the world’s first and most ambitious architectural programme of its kind, which has become an international site for architectural experimentation and follows a long tradition of pavilions by some of the world’s greatest architects. The immediacy of the commission – a maximum of six months from invitation to completion – provides a unique model worldwide.
