Inspired by the work of Carl Jung, the image is part of a larger series that explores themes such as identity, introspection and transformation. Through AR, game elements were introduced into the piece, offering virtual content unlockable through interactions.

Bio

Camila Magrane is a Venezuelan-American visual artist known for her augmented reality images, integrating 3D animated scenes and subjects into physical photographs. With experience in video game development and a passion for analog photography, she explores the dialogue between the virtual and physical worlds. Magrane’s images are inspired by surrealist compositions and reference the graphic hyperrealism of contemporary video game design.

Wang & Söderström is a Copenhagen based transdisciplinary duo composed of Swedish designer Anny Wang and architect Tim Söderström. ‘Connecting Time’ is a survey show with works spanning Arsham’s entire career. Hijikata conceived of Ankoku Butoh from its origins as an outlaw form of dance-art, and as constituting the negation of all existing forms of Japanese dance. Once in the Garden

Penny Slinger is a surrealist artist. She produced 50%-The Visible Woman (1971) and An Exorcism (1977), two collections of powerful and haunting collages. Sua montagens fotográficas, belas, perturbadoras e polêmicas, tem um forte apelo surrealista e chegam a ser confundidas com pinturas, tamanha a riqueza de cores e contrastes, conseguidos através da utilização de um papel especial chamado Cibachrome, o qual intensifica a definição, a cor e o brilho das fotos. O processo utilizado por Ruud, consiste em tirar fotos dos modelos em estúdio e posteriormente inserir as paisagens nas fotos.

Après avoir étudié la sculpture à l’Université de Séoul, il complète ses études à l’Institut des Beaux-Arts de Chicago et devient rapidement un sculpteur assez connu grâce à un style surréaliste et provocateur, en utilisant en particulier des éléments déjà présents dans la nature. L’artiste utilise abondamment l’équilibre et la suspension dans ses oeuvres, pour explorer le frontière entre la naturalité et l’artificialité. Un travail intéressant dans la grande tradition de l’art surréaliste.
